Queen Maeve is a central character in the Amazon Prime Video series, The Boys, adapted from the comic book of the same name. She is portrayed by Dominique McElligott.
Maeve is a member of "The Seven," Vought International's premier superhero team and the equivalent of Wonder Woman in the show's universe. Initially presented as a courageous and idealistic hero, she is later revealed to be disillusioned and cynical due to Vought's corrupting influence and the constant pressure to maintain a manufactured image.
Throughout the series, Maeve grapples with her complicity in Vought's schemes and her own past failures. She possesses superhuman strength, durability, and flight, making her one of the most powerful "supes."
